Living in a flat I needed something versatile that is why my research finally led me to the new George Foreman 360 Grill. The “Little George” , as I call it, is good as pizza oven, omelette maker, and pancake griddle but the great point is that an all-in-one stylish solution.
What to Look for When Buying an Electric Grill
Don’t make the mistake to look just at the price when you want to buy a grill. I personally think that there are some very important things to keep in mind when you buy an electric grill:
- Cooking Surface
- Dimensions
- Controls
- Warranty
Is it Really a Non-Stick Surface?
Many brands tend to sell a grill saying that has got a non-stick surface but most of the time after 3/4 months you realise that is far from true. The non-stick surface of this Grill plates definitely seem to be top-notch and cleaning it’s a breeze! It can be adjusted from angled to flat and viceversa in order to help channel fat away from food and into the built-in drip tray. You can also remove the 106 square inch cooking plates to clean the device properly as well!
Size Matters… Maybe Not!
Well, it always depends on what you want to cook! If you wanted to cook a whole pig, forget about it but I can tell you that with a grill that measures 17-1/2 by 15 by 5-7/8 inches you can do a lot. The 360 Grill fit 5 quarter pound hamburgers, so it was far better than other smaller indoor grill which only held 2 burgers at a time. As you can see, it is enough for cooking properly !
